Health Alert: Lisbon (Portugal), Social Distancing Measures in Effect

To U.S. citizens in Portugal

The Government of Portugal decreed the following measures for the Lisbon Metropolitan Area only effective June 23, 2020:

. Gatherings reduced to a max of 10 persons

. All public spaces will close at 8pm (except for restaurants)

. No consumption of alcohol in public spaces

. Gas stations are prohibited from selling alcohol

. Police presence will be increased to deter large gatherings

. Organizers and participants of large gatherings will be fined
